Thank you so much for all of your help in our time of need! You are the hands and feet of Jesus in our community indeed! I cannot express how grateful I am to be a part of and a recipient of this ministry!

Blessings to you!

Thank you for your help!

I would like to thank you and the group you sent. If you could pass another thank you to the group I would appreciate it. They were awesome! I could not believe how well they can pack a truck. And let them know that the satellite stand we had in the hall way with the cement, we got it down the stairs and when we dragged it out the door and down the cement stairs the bottom bucket broke open and it was filled with sand which lightened it quite a bit. Thank you again I don’t know what Roberto and I would have down without them. God bless and thank you again. ~ Nancy-ACCAP

Thank you all!

Dear Julie and all of the servant volunteers,

May the simple pleasures of the season be yours.

Thank you so much for all of the service and coordination you have provided to the seniors in Anoka County. You have provided service to situations that would have otherwise seemed hopeless or would have gone unserved. We are so grateful and thankful for all that you do. Truly a labor of love.

Merry Christmas,

Laura
Anoka County Senior Services

Beyond Horizons Thank You.

December 1, 2011

Dear Julie and Service Teams:
Thank you and your teams for some recent service projects that you helped with in connection with ACCAP (Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc.). At the beginning of October, you assisted with a move for Ginger from Fridley to Moundsview. The men that helped with that move were kind and gentle with her belongings, as well as creative with how to pack them on the truck. They went above and beyond by also covering the cost of the moving van. It was a quick and “easy” move, and I know Ginger really appreciated all of that help.

More recently, Mike helped out a senior in Fridley, Sandra with a plumbing problem. He managed to reduce the stream of water that was emitting from her tub faucet to just a drip. She was very grateful for the assistance with that. He even covered the cost of some minor supplies that were needed to fix that leaky faucet.

I would like to thank your church a well for creating this great service ministry. You really are touching lives physically and spiritually. On behalf of ACCAP, we hope to work with your ministry in the future and appreciate the way you help us serve our community.

Respectfully,
Kris Moren

This Thanksgiving we are thankful for you!

To all of our servants, our clients and those who support Beyond Horizons financially the Board of Directors would like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!  It is absolutely AMAZING to see what God has been doing through your faithfulness!  There are so many stories from both clients and from servants whose lives have been touched by the love and kindness that has been shown in Jesus name and we look forward to sharing those stories with you more in the months to come.  So on this Thanksgiving weekend we want you to know that we are so thankful for your participation in our ministry and we look forward to partnering with you even more in the coming year to show the love of Jesus to those in need in our community.

In case you missed it, here is a link to a video that highlights one of stories we have encountered this year:

So for all your hard work, we want you to just imagine Jesus saying to you on this Thanksgiving . . .

“Well done my good and faithful servant!  [Matthew 25:21]  For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”  And you might say “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?  And we did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?  And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”

And the King will answer you . . .

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these (in Anoka County) my brothers and sisters, you did it to me!”  [Matthew 25:35-40]

Thank you so much and may God bless you and your family on this Thanksgiving day!  We have so much to be grateful for!

Warmest Regards,

Brian Bovee, Julie Clarke & the Beyond Horizons Board of Directors

Thanks so much!

You guys will never know how much your help has meant to me.  You  helped me move, clean out my apartment,  get through my inspection and get my security deposit back.  You went above and beyond the move!  You have also provided me with someone to come in and do some light cleaning and change my bedding.  Then a year later I was struck with cancer and you helped me get through the worst part of that by providing me with transportation to my 33 treatments.  Every person I have been in contact with from your organization has been very caring and encouraging.  You have no idea how scary it is to be disabled and not have transportation.  I have felt a huge loss of independence and it has left me very vulnerable. You have made such a difference in my life and for that I thank you! ~ Pat

Thank you Beyond Horizons.

Hello! I can’t thank you enough for all of the help you have given my mom and Charlie. They would have been lost if God hadn’t brought you to them! They have been through a lot and they deserve to have a nice life, thank you so much for helping to make that possible! Please let me know of there is anything I can do to help your organization reach out to more people. I don’t have much I can give but I am a Nurse so maybe I could provide respite for a parent or spouse of someone with medical needs. I thank you again and thank God for bringing you to my family. God bless! ~ Heidi

Another Whiteout Opportunity!

October 6, 2011

Beyond Horizons Team:

We have a Whiteout opportunity!  Horizons Community Church is sponsoring a FMSC packing event Saturday, October 29th.  It would be pretty cool to see a BH team there to show our support for this compassion cause and help starving children around the world.  We will be supporting this event in place of our Fall Clean-up event so please join us for the 7-9pm packing time and be sure to wear your BH t-shirt!  If this time slot doesn’t work for you and/or your family please support FMSC by registering for another time slot.

You can register at http://horizonscommunitychurch.com/fmsc.

If you have not served with us yet, please join the movement and serve along side of us and we’ll give you a t-shirt!  Our goal is to show those who are not signed up to serve with us that being Jesus hands and feet in our local, national and global communities is a movement they should be a part of!

Hope to see you there and God bless you for serving with us!

ACCAP Thank You

My client is so pleased with her ramp modifications.  We had been working on getting her help for a long time with a lot of road blocks.  You have made everyone’s day!  Thanks for your ministry and all the hard work that goes into it. ~ Karen – ACCAP Senior Outreach Worker
