Ministries

The following ministry list are services we are currently providing to those who have financial and/or other special circumstantial needs within our local community.  To see if you qualify for any of these services, please contact us at help@beyondhorizons.org, by calling us at (763) 208-7040 or by registering for help online.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY:

  • Provide up to four round trip rides for those temporarily without vehicles to:
    • Work, job interviews, doctor visits, social service appointments, etc.
  • Provide minor repairs to vehicles that are not working or unsafe to drive

SHELTER MINISTRY:

  • Provide the following home services on a limited basis:
    • Basic house cleaning
    • Simple home repairs
    • Yard work and snow removal
    • Home modification to provide access to the elderly and wheelchair bound

COMPASSION MINISTRY:

  • Provide companion services for people who are isolated or lonely

MOVING SERVICES MINISTRY:

  • Provide the following moving services once every two years (must be moving into Anoka county or within Anoka county to qualify):
    • Servants for labor
    • Vehicles for moving (if needed . . . does not include moving vans)

SHOPPING MINISTRY:

  • Take an elderly or incapable person grocery or home goods shopping

SPECIAL SKILLS MINISTRY:

  • Do you have a skill that could be used to help others in need in our community?  Please let us know and we will register you to help someone in that particular area.  For example, we have plumbers, financial advisors, beauticians, and nurses who have all signed up to serve using their specific talents to help those in need.

BUSINESS PARTNERS MINISTRY:

  • Do you own a business that could be used to serve those in need?  Please let us know!  We would love to partner with you to serve those in our community!
