God used you to be a Blessing to those you served and those you served alongside of!

April 15th marks the start of National Volunteer Week, seven days set aside by the Points of Light Institute to celebrate the contribution of volunteers in our local community and across the globe.

On behalf of myself, Julie Clarke our Managing Director and the entire board of directors of Beyond Horizons, we would like to take a moment to recognize you for the truly amazing work you have done in our local community in Jesus name!

Last year alone, you spent 2,687 hours serving in our local community doing everything from raking leaves, to building handicap ramps, to fixing sinks, to moving families that have been displaced in this difficult economic time, to showing the lost and lonely compassion by spending time with them during their time of need.  Over 84 individuals and families were blessed by your service and over 107 practical needs were met because of your willingness to give of your precision time, talent, treasure and touch through the outlet we call Beyond Horizons.

We know how busy you are.  We know how precious your time is to you. We know of the sacrifices you have made to make all of what was described above happen.  We want you to know that those things did not go unnoticed and that we are so grateful for your service.

More than that, we are unbelievably proud of the impact you are having on our local community.  The stories we have to share about how our clients lives have been so beautifully touched by your kindness are many and humbling.  Hopefully, you have seen some of those stories via our videos on our website (www.beyondhorizons.org).  Beyond Horizons has also been highlighted in our local community papers in recognition for the work that is being done through your faithfulness and we have even had local politicians write us letters to thank us for the impact we are having and to encourage us to continue on in our pursuits.  Finally, the thank you letters we get from clients are what make it all worth it in the end because we know that your generosity is having a tremendous impact.

So, we would like to say to you . . .

Thank you for serving with us!

Thank you for loving your neighbors!

Thank you for the sacrifice you have made to impact the life of another!

And thank you for being a HUGE part of the amazing outcomes this little ministry has produced over the past two and a half years.  We are so blessed to have you on our team and we look forward to what God is going to do through your faithful service in the years to come!

I applaud the efforts of BEYOND HORIZONS and pray for your continued success.  I really appreciate your efforts to meet people at their point of need.  At these critical times, the pain associated with them is a far greater burden to bear.
Beyond Horizons provides strength to the weak and joy to the depressed.  May GOD continue to bless this ministry abundantly with many types of resources.

Your charity is a vital contributor to the well-being of citizens in our region and our community. I saw the article about Beyond Horizons in the Anoka County Union and wanted to encourage you to keep up the hard work!

Thanks to all our faithful volunteers!

My move went SO smooth with the help of Julie and all the movers!  They were very thoughtful and kind.  Moving is so stressful and I had a lot lifted by all the help I received. My dog and I are really enjoying our new apartment.  I will always be thankful for your church and I can’t thank you enough!  I will definitely be attending your church sometime!!
