Thank You!

Dear Beyond Horizons,

 We want to send everyone that is a part of Beyond Horizons a huge THANK YOU!   We are actually active members of the church and my husband volunteers on a weekly basis with Beyond Horizon’s as a companion for gentleman.  We know what it is like to need assistance. We have been in situations where we have received help from the county (financial, food stamps, insurance) and have recently been able to work ourselves off of these types of assistance. However, we still find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck with the occasional need to still look for resources like the food shelf.  We recently came home and found our air conditioner to be broken. We knew there was no way we could even afford a service call. We were getting ready to grin and bear the heat when a friend at church mentioned Beyond Horizons.  We were hesitant to call because we are use to be on the giving side of this organization.  But we called to see if there was anyone who could help and that we would be willing to pay as much as we could.  We were instantly connected with Lee, who quickly came out to fix our AC.  He was such a blessing to us!  It was so nice to talk to him and get to know him.  He allowed me to pray right then and there for him and thank God for his servant attitude.  We were able to pay for the parts needed for the AC and bit more for Lee’s time, but it was nothing compared to what it could have been for a traditional service call.   So now, while the heat wave is hitting us here in MN we are able to keep our family cool thanks to your great organization and for help from Lee!  THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!  We can’t say it enough.  Thank you for being the hand and feet of Jesus!  May God bless this ministry tenfold!  Thank you!

Beyond Horizons Ministry – Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me move.  The men that came to help move me into my apartment were very nice and very helpful.  Not only that but they worked efficiently, quickly and went above and beyond just helping move boxes and furniture!  There aren’t many people out there that are willing to be helpful so I am grateful to have been introduced to the volunteers at Beyond Horizons. ~ Allene
